Lately, this cute little plaque has been catching my eye every time I walk past my co-worker's cubicle. Now, I know it hasn't always been there, or I would have caught it with these keen eyes I have for such things. I was right, turns out it's a recent gift. Well, I have no shame, so I asked little Lizzy if I could borrow her cute little recent gift. Ask and you shall receive, people. Thanks Lizzy!
Small scrunchy=not good. Socks and large scrunchy=not bad. |
I cut the sock in half. |
So, I'm thinkin' to myself, "This works." |
Above: Flooring is wood grain paper (I placed acrylic on top for the reflection), white wall is corrugated paper, acrylic cube is from the 99 Cent store, vase is from the thrift shop at a whopping 25 cents, the green sticks in the vase are candles from Target, and the hand charm is from Michael's.
Thank you, but it's hard to believe that it hasn't been done already, cause you guys amaze me!
ReplyDeleteCan someone please tell me how to get my picture in the little box on the comments section? Also, what's up with the '?
ReplyDelete' is the ASCII code for '
DeleteThe apostrophe is a special character, and I don't think blogger displays special characters in your blogger name, so instead of Minis-B-Happenin' you get Minis-B-Happenin'
For the profile picture, when logged in to blogger, go to the top right corner, click "Design"
Go to top right corner again and look for your name Minis-B-Happenin with a drop down arrow.
Click the arrow, then click the link "Blogger Profile"
In the top right again, click the orange button "Edit Profile"
Then upload a new image under "Profile Photo"
The "Lightbox" feature is really cool, it's like a slide show. When it is turned on (as you have it) if you click on an image it shows the larger version with a black background and then you can click through all of the enlarged images in that post. If you click off the photos you return to the post. When it is turned off, if you click on an image it opens just that single image on a white background and you have to hit the back button to get back to the post. Annoying. I encourage everyone to "Showcase images with Lightbox" as it allows you to easily see close ups of all images in a post.
LOVE the covers idea. I never would have thought of the scrunchy cover. Cool! :D
Thanx! You and Jazzi have been very helpful. I'll just throw my questions out there from time to time. I have more, but, "baby steps".
DeleteHow simple and clever! Well done you! The #39 is internet language for 's...will get back to you about the comments pic...Jazzi
ReplyDeleteTry this for your comments pic..in settings, go to post and comments tick the box that says "Showcase images with Lightbox"...
ReplyDeleteThanks for your help. The setting was on "yes", so I'm wondering if it wasn't appearing earlier because I wasn't signed into my blog. I'll see what happens now. Still learning. It seems so easy, but not!
